We often see Naruto defeats his enemies not only using power merely but also using kind words or quotes whether at the beginning, middle or at the end of a battle. Naruto's mangaka finally revealed why it could happen.
This is the reason why Naruto often talks to stop the enemy frequently, why doesn't he directly finish them off? Kishimoto thinks that ending one battle within the dialog perhaps almost taboo in most comic for boys.
"Children's comic definitely has a scene of violence. But I want to say (to the reader) that the enemies who do violence may do so for reasons that can not be avoided, and if (the protagonist) vanquished them without knowing their motivation, it can end by repeating the same thing." said Masashi Kishimoto when interviewed with Japan newspaper, Asashi Shimbun.
